Transforming a Former Bridal Boutique Into the New May Aesthetics Studio

Our recent project for May Aesthetics is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and careful construction can completely transform a commercial space. What began as an outdated bridal boutique has now become a modern, elevated beauty studio tailored specifically to the needs of May Aesthetics’ expanding clientele. This remodel required a complete reimagining of the interior, balancing soft, feminine aesthetics with durable materials, improved workflow, and upgraded infrastructure.

Creating a Cohesive First Impression: The Main Room


The biggest transformation occurred in the main reception area, where our team redesigned the layout to create a welcoming and streamlined client experience. We introduced:


  • Blush-colored walls to establish May Aesthetic’s signature look
  • A custom curved reception desk with a gold-wrapped exterior and marble countertop
  • Modern sconce lighting for warmth and visibility
  • A redesigned seating area with updated electrical and optimized spacing
  • The refinished original hardwood floors became one of the standout features of the space, adding character and grounding the fresh design with warmth and authenticity.


Each treatment room required its own tailored approach to support different service needs while keeping the aesthetic consistent throughout the studio. Our work included:


  • Installing custom cabinetry designed for storage efficiency
  • Integrating wallpaper and tile selections that add softness without sacrificing durability
  • Updating electrical and plumbing for specialized skincare equipment
  • Selecting gold fixtures and hardware to unify the brand identity
  • Creating layouts that maximize comfort, movement, and workflow



One of the most visually striking rooms features a blush tile backsplash paired with a gold faucet and natural-wood cabinets, a combination chosen to bring warmth and modernity to the room while keeping maintenance simple.

A Bright, Functional Break Room for Staff

Behind the main office and spaces, we remodeled May Aesthetic’s break room to ensure staff and clients have a space that is practical, comfortable, and easy to use. The remodel included:



  • New light-toned cabinetry with gold pulls
  • Updated countertops
  • A stacked laundry unit
  • New shelving and storage solutions
  • Upgraded flooring repairs and baseboards
  • A refreshed, clean layout


This area is now fully functional for daily operations and offers much-needed workspace for the team. Efficiency is essential in a service-based studio, so we converted two separate rooms into organized storage areas. One expanded closet in the break room, and one smaller storage room off the main office equipped with Shelving and cabinetry for inventory. These updates allow May Aesthetics to operate smoothly with clearly defined zones for supplies, equipment, and back-of-house needs.
